Truly wonderful to see how our previous patients are helping others by sharing their stories! Thank you @itsabosomthing for sharing yours! Read below to hear how Julie's experience impacted the life of E ❤️
Here’s a photo and the whole story from Saturday night:
For those who haven’t heard the story...
E found my videos and blog online while searching for info on her upcoming surgery. Most of the videos she found were scary. She kindly told me that my blog gave her HOPE! She said she believes that God put my story in her life right when she needed it. We share the same reconstructive surgeon and live in the same city and had breast cancer on the same side. She told her family that she’d like to meet me someday. Her sweet sister, Laura, found me on FB and messaged me.
E has been referring to me as “my friend Julie” for awhile now...even though we had never met or even communicated. She said she knew we would! 🙂
When I found out Saturday that she was only one floor away from me at work, I arranged with her sister to stop by after my shift. It was so much fun to walk into that room! The whole family recognized me immediately...like I was some sort of celebrity! 😎
We chatted for awhile and took this great pic.
I am sure we will see each other again because after all, I am her
Friend Julie!! Many thanks to her sister, Laura, for making this meeting happen. It was such fun to meet this family and hear how our stories interconnected! #prmaplasticsurgery #blessedbreastcancersurvivor #breastreconstruction #breastcancer #pinksistersforever #itsabosomthing
