How much do you move? Movement is a huge buzz work today related to health and fitness, and for good reason. A sedentary lifestyle is very unhealthy. Our bodies were designed to move and they need to move. This is why I do what I do, to help people move and strengthen their bodies in ways that are in line with their fitness goals and preferred life activities. I believe that your exercise should prepare your body to do whatever it is that you really like to do.
🌊I’m thinking about movement today, because this video is really more of a movement sequence, than a circuit. I’m using a Bosu,so grab yours and follow along if you have one. If you don’t, you can put your hands on the ground although this might makes the stretches a bit too intense. You can also put your hands on anything that is 6 to 12 to 18 inches off the ground. All you are doing is bringing the ground closer to you.
🔥Follow the sequence moving in and out of several different stretches. Feel the strength in your arms and legs as they support your body to move. If it feels good to hold these stretch positions, then stay put and hold a bit longer. If not, then move on, but don’t rush, be fluid!
🌊The stretches or positions that make up this sequence will stretch a lot of major muscle groups in your body, including: glutes, hamstrings, hip flexors, thoracic spine, abdomen, chest, calves and more. Your muscles are like rubber bands, if you don’t use them, they dry up and lose their elasticity over time.
