Mid run snack from a bench with a view 💗. While this snack may not be high in carbohydrates, it’s a good protein quick snack. I do love a bit of jerky / biltong 😋. This morning was a 3 hour trail bumble, which means I like to mix my foods up a little .
I have other food sources too in my pocket which will give me the carbohydrates/ sugars if needed. Another go too of mine is chopped dates or a banana 🍌. I try not to over think my foods, keep them simple, easy to chew and I tend to stay a way from “Sports” gels where I can, as they cause me to have digestive discomfort..... and nobody wants the runners poops while on a long run 🏃♀️.
