There’s some very big differences between these two photos. But they aren’t ones you would probably pick up on by just looking.... except for the tan of course.
R Photo - 29th April 2017 - these were the final photos from my second crack at a 12 week Challenge and as happy as I was with what I had achieved I was exhausted, depleted, wouldn’t eat a meal unless it was weighed and thought about my next meal ALL THE TIME. My results were short lived. I tried to reverse back out of the final stage of the challenge, but mentally and physically my body felt like it had to ‘Heal’. And my body felt burnt out. But In saying that I learnt ALOT.
L Photo - today - my Training and nutrition has completely changed and I am no longer focused on weight loss but concentrating on performance and ensuring my body gets all the nutrients and energy it needs. I only weigh my oats and the rest is based on the ‘hand’ rule. Protein size of my palm, carbs size of my fist and the rest of the meal is made up from fresh vegetables. Lots and lots of vegetables. I eat plenty of fats found in nuts, fish, avocados 🥑 I don’t spend my time between meals thinking about food, instead I’m finding that I have to set reminders for my meals. Im lifting heavier and training 5 days a week - only 60mins a session. The intensity of the training is full on.
