    Cable tower leg circuit 🍑🔥 - Today I did 4 different circuits all at the cable towers and it was pretty bomb. Swipe for the leg circuit! - Complete 3 rounds of each circuit. No rest until entire round is complete. Rest 1.5 minutes between rounds. - Circuit 1: Cable rope pull throughs x 15 Cable rope deadlifts x 15 Cable rope curtsy lunges x 15 each leg Cable front loaded squats x 15 Rest 1.5 min - Circuit 4: SA Cable front raise x 8 each arm SA Cable bicep curl x 8 each arm SA Cable row x 10 each arm SA Cable chest fly x 10 each arm Rest 1.5 min - Circuit 3: Cable overhead tricep rope extensions x 15 Face pull x 15 Rope lat pull down x 15 Pushups x 10 (elbows back not out) Rest 1.5 min - Circuit 4: Rope crunches (using rope extension) x 15 Wood whoppers (using handle extension) x 15 Crunches (using 2 handle extensions) x 15 - SA stands for Single Arm - Leggings: @paragonfitwear | link to shop is in my bio!     Here are 9 deadlift variations you can try for full body strength. - 1. The Conventional Deadlift is the most popular form of deadlift that peephole start with. - 2. Sumo Deadlift: Another popular variation, especially among Powerlifters. Unlike a conventional deadlift, your hands will be inside the knees. This emphasizes the quads and hips a bit more than conventional deadlifts - 3. Romanian Deadlifts: A variation of the conventional deadlift, you start the movement at the top and bring down the bar to below your knees. The barbell doesn’t touch the floor while doing reps. This is one of the best exercises for your hamstrings. - 4. Stiff Legged Deadlift: a variation of the conventional deadlift. The main difference is that you don’t use your quads to push the weight off the floor. The main muscles targeted are the hamstrings and lower back. - 5. Hex/Trap Bar Deadlift: This emphasizes your quads more than almost any other deadlift. Since your arms are on your side, you can stay more upright. - 6. Snatch Grip Deadlift: One of the best exercises for your upper back. If your back rounds on the deadlift, this is a good exercise to correct it. Since you’re gripping wider, your range of motion will increase. - 7. Deficit Deadlifts: you can stand on a 2”-4”+ box or weight plate to increase your range of motion. This is a great exercise to improve your strength off the floor. - 8. Block Pulls allow you to overload and lift more weight. If you’re having trouble with locking out, this may help. - 9.     If you don't know already....I ❤ push-ups. For a few different reasons actually, but one bc they are great for noting progress. . . . I had a client this morning who originally came to me & wanted to work on upper body strength. 2/3/18 - 4 sets of 10 push-ups - set 1 she did 4 on her toes, 6 on her knees; sets 2/4, 2 on her toes, 8 on her knees; set 3, 3 on her toes, 7 on knees. 2/24/18 - 3 sets of 10 push-ups, all on her toes 💪 Both were done at the end of her workout. . . .
