Did you know that when your cat bites you during play or petting that they are expressing their love for you.
Licking and gentle nibbling can be your cat’s way of showing affection. Mother cats lick and nibble at their kittens in grooming, and it may be that your cat is trying to show you the same love his mom showed him. Unlike aggressive bites, cat love bites typically do not break the skin.
But you need to be careful. Too much petting can lead to overstimulation of your pussy cat. This can result in more agressive biting. This kind of biting will usually break the skin and draw blood. You are best to leave your cat calm down for a little while if this happens.
Personally, I like a bit of rough play and find that pinky fingers and the fleshy bit between the thumb and index fingers are the most safisfying for chewing on. #lovebites #cats #workingcats #wilbursfunfactfriday #kittylove #catswithjobs #catsatwork #teeth #biting
