What I’ve read this month so far....
James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl
A fun and hilarious adventure. •
Stella by Starlight by Sharon M. Draper
An excellent historical fiction on a young black girls life in the Depression years. So good, I didn’t want it to end!
How Full Is Your Bucket?
This book should’ve perhaps had its own post. My husband recommended it to me (wow I love saying that, he’s a nonreader on the road to recovery so I’m all like 😍) anyway this book is life changing. And I’m not abusing the term at all. If I could convince you to read just one book, I’d pick this one for you! It’s a short read full of so much power. Every human needs this! And it will apply to you no matter what age or stage you are in. Please do yourself and the world a favor and read THIS book. 🙏🏼❤️
May B. By Caroline Starr Rose.
If your reader has read the whole set of Little House on the Prairie and is aching for more, perhaps the story of May B. will fill their prairie cravings. It’s a story of survival and bravery in verse form. •

A Merry Christmas indeed! My heart is full. I didn’t take as many pics as I wanted to but I guess I was too busy living and loving the moment. I’m so grateful for this moment in time with the people I get to love. ❤️🎄 we laughed, we played, we feasted like kings. We are so blessed. #mybooknerdlife#bookishchristmas#emmasarenechristmas2017
