    HOW TO INCREASE TESTOSTERONE LEVELS NATURALLY - Testosterone is at the core of who you are as a man. - Lift heavy and explosively!     The snatch has always been the scariest lift to me. Well, I must’ve had extra courage this weekend because I finally started learning and trying. All kinds of things I need to work on, so I welcome your suggestions. Be kind..😬..this is only my 2nd time trying to snatch and I’m just using a 30lb bar. I’m excited though, because this has been something I’ve always wanted to learn and I’m finally giving it a try. Also, in the back of my mind, I’m telling myself to stay disciplined and focused on my powerlifting training, but... too much I want to learn.     Barbell class, spending some time working on the squat snatch & overhead work of which is not my strongest. Still need to learn to lock out properly💩 Worked up to a 37kg complex, 1 squat snatch, 2 overhead squats.     WHY YOU RETRACT YOUR SHOULDER BLADES WHEN YOU BENCH: Let's talk about why you retract your shoulder blades when benching and why this is actually SAFE for your shoulders 👌🏽 . If you're casually laying on the bench- ❌ Not retracting the shoulder blades ❌ Not keeping your upper back tight Your shoulder blade(s) can do something called anterior scapula tilt (which is your scapula tilting forward), and this can possibly cause anterior-or front part- shoulder pain 😩 .     HAPPY SUNDAY FAM! Let’s talk: hand health. ✋🏼 Whether you’re a kettle bell swinger, Olympic lifter or gymnast, you’ve probably experienced a rip 😩 before. If you haven’t- you’re lucky- so let’s try to keep it that way. 👍🏼 The products in this picture are how I keep my hands healthy even on high skill gymnastics or heavy barbell cycling! 👍🏼Healthy hands are SO important, especially with @crossfitgames season starting THIS WEEK- so heed my advice & start taking care of your hands TODAY! 🙏🏼 1) @prbalm 😍 this stuff works miracles if you have tears, or if you tear during the 2 days and you’re almost good as new! 😱 2) PUMICE STONE! This one is made from lava rock. I got it on @amazon for $8 and it’s massive. Use this bad boy DAILY as a part of your shower routine. 🛁 3) Corn Husker Lotion! It doesn’t smell pretty, it doesn’t feel like normal lotion, but it gets the job done. And @cohen_weightlifting turned me on to it (this guy knows his stuff!) 👌🏼 4) Last but not least- a callus shaver. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS. Use it when your hands are warm & wet. Use it on callused skin. Don’t “dig in” with it. But if you use it right, it will save you from calluses becoming nasty rips. 👏🏼 . . .
