I debated on posting this, but I’m going to anyway.
Last Monday, I participated in a protest for Arizona teachers. I was proud to be there and lend my voice to a cause many people are uninformed about. In the end, there were 200+ teachers who showed up. This was followed by news people and police. ABC did a live video on Facebook and this was a gem in the comment section.
It’s people like this that make me self conscious before I even leave the house. It’s people like this that have helped create a fear of people watching me eat. I am constantly afraid of judgment like this and people do it routinely for laughs and to express frustration.
Careless words like this can make or break people. Yet we hide behind our computers and pass judgement daily. If you are looking at someone and can’t help but think negative thoughts, then keep them firmly housed behind your lips. #goldenrule
