She acts disinterested but as soon as I put my hand on that mouse she turned and savaged me so don’t be fooled. Apparently my options are pay attention to her or do nothing at all. Unfortunately for Tilly I wanted to get some writing done and so she had to deal with (and I had to deal with the scratches on my hand.) I managed about 2500 words bringing The Guard’s Heart up to 4000 words. I was planning on this section only being 2000 words but it’s fine - I can always take them out again. I enjoy the process of editing and trimming down all the unnecessary bits. It’s exciting to watch my story get leaner without losing any of the meaning. day 25 is about a sex swap for your characters. If Brookes was a boy a lot of things would be the same. He might be a bit stronger which would help in fights and would probably share a room with Tobin at first which would make it hard for Tobin to keep his secrets. The romances is where the trouble would be. Male Brookes probably wouldn’t spend as much alone time with Lilias and even if he did, Lilias is a lesbian so that would probably stop that subplot 🙃 overall I think Brookes definitely needs to be a girl, it’s just who she is. ••••
QOTD: this one’s for the writers 😉 do you find it easier to cut words or add them in?
AOTD: I can do both but I’m probably better at cutting. It’s more analytical I think. #wipgalentines
